Benefits of GPS

Features:

Our products utilize a custom developed computerized map that can keep track of vehicles and assets in any number of on or off site locations. Administratively defined criteria (e.g. speed, location, stopping time and route designation) can be set so that a series of alarms can be triggered if the criteria are violated. As a “Smart Box,” the CT1000 and 410 can monitor measure and control equipment and/or vehicle systems through connections to a multitude of sensors.

Some of the benefits of using our Ct technology include:

Save fuel: Speed and idle time are both critical factors in saving fuel. Excessive idling can add up to 800 gallons of fuel annually for the average truck, and every mile above 50 MPH increases fuel consumption by 1.5% (this doubles at speeds of 70 MPH pr greater).

Reduce operating costs: At the current cost of fuel ($4.00/gallon) the average operating cost per vehicle is around $1.50. A company can reduce at least 25 miles per week for each vehicle equipped with a GPS system. That equals $37.50 per week or $1950.00 annually.

Validate service calls: By using route monitoring you can tell when a service vehicle arrived and how long it was at a particular location.

Monitor driver activities: Creating a log of routes and stops is key for determining if your fleet is running efficiently. With our products you can prevent unauthorized use of a vehicle with features like geo-fencing.

Create digital logs for more accurate billing: Using GPS creates a digital log of time, speed, and route of your fleet, which allows the end user to accurately calculate time and fuel costs used on a specific job. This will create more accurate billing and also eliminates the need for a paper log for each job.

Increase employee efficiency: On average, each vehicle can make at least one more stop, job, or delivery per day when monitored via a GPS system. This will not only eliminate an average of one hour of overtime per week, but it will also have a positive impact by improving response time and customer service.

Improve safety and liability: Drivers who know they are being monitored are more careful. This can reduce accidents, and also help provide data that can help when an incident occurs. Typically a company can expect to lower insurance rates from 5% to 35% by using a real-time GPS tracking system.

Application options: Our product line includes GPS systems that have more advanced functions along with basic tracking. Our products can be set up to monitor activities including engine performance, seat belt use, door lock/unlock, starter kill, and vehicle alarm notification to name a few.

Reduce maintenance costs: Our products allow you to monitor vehicle performance to catch engine malfunctions before they become a problem. Also, through monitoring you will know when to schedule periodic oil changes and service without even looking at the vehicle.

Prevent fraudulent claims: With a digital log you are able to prove that your fleet was at a certain location at a particular time.
